Minutes Meeting of 5-6-07

Approval of the minutes of the April 7, 2007 meeting is made by unanimous vote.

Financial Report:

Checking $2233.01 with $60 outstanding debits, $285 outstanding credits

CapitolOne savings: $5588.75

Total $7821.76

Portland Pride Parade Entry: We are signed up, it is June 17^th Court has their own entry, no response from PFLAG yet. We are announcing to the community now, Jer will send out emails and create insurance waiver. Pam will be getting the banner this week from Rebecca to get the dates changed. Tim will look at making a frame for the banner to walk it.

HIV Alliance Run/Walk was canceled this year.

Country Fair Booth Planning – Jer will follow up with Rebecca & Denise

Multicultural Festival August 3^rd – 4 to 8, can pre sale buttons. We have a table, will do some history of pride interactive thingy. We will order 300 buttons from Richard.

Offer T-Shirts for pre sale on the Web - Tim will look into Café Press or others for hosting a sales location. We have an existing PayPal account. Standard plain logo on t-shits etc. Special yearly items?

Youth after party to be organized possibly by LEAD or other youth group, discussion is ongoing.

Jer will be checking with Maude Kerns center about Art in the Vineyard event.

Marketing Plan – Todd will start sending email about the event, will look at doing radio.

Mother Kali’s registration still not in.

Seattle Pride organizers Out and Proud went bankrupt, so primary event is cancelled at this time.

Southern Oregon Pride 6/9, Medford – Jer is going and others are welcome to carpool
