Accessibility

Our accessibility efforts for the 2026 Eugene/Springfield Pride Festival are listed below. Contact info@eugenepride.org if you have questions, we have a dedicated accessibility team that can assist with specific access needs.

  • Accessible Parking: A large, dedicated, accessible parking area will be reserved for attendees people who use mobility devices, elders, people with mobility challenges, pregnant people and families with small children in the parking areas closest to the entrance. ADA parking spots will be reserved for those with ADA placards, however all neighboring spaces will be held for those who need it most. Parking further out? Catch a free Gaybale Ride!

  • Free Bus Rides: Ride the bus to Pride for free! We will provide a code before the event that you can use for a free bus pass.

  • Sliding Scale Tickets: Pay what you can! So that people on low or no incomes can access the festival, we have sliding scale of ticket prices. Pay what you can afford, and you won't be asked any questions upon entry.  Please be honest and do pay the price that feels comfortable for your level of income.

  • American Sign Language: ASL translation is available throughout the day on our main and community stages, as well as at our information booth and at the rally and community event in downtown Eugene before the festival.

  • Wheelchair Accessibility:  The Lane Events Center is accessible for people with mobility challenges and wheelchair users, including accessible toilets and level floors.

  • Seating: Seating is provided throughout the event, including at all of our stages, as well as in the Regulation Station, Activity Zone, Food Court, and Interfaith Area.

  • Regulation Station: Our Regulation Station is a quiet area to get away from the crowds during the festival. There will be some low-key activities, fidgets, therapy dogs, and other options to help you decompress from the excitement and overstimulation of the main festival. We're looking into having some comfy seating for relaxing and a semi-private area for personal needs and comfort adjustments.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Earplugs and KN95 masks will be provided at no charge in the information booth; earplugs and masks will also be available at the Regulation Station.

  • Free Food: We understand that not everyone can afford to purchase food from our food vendors during the event. Our hospitality team offers free food throughout the festival with consideration for many dietary restrictions.

  • Veteran's Village: Resources and community space for LGBTQ+ Veterans is available in our Veteran's Village. Thank you for your service!

  • Clothing Exchange: No need to bring anything to exchange, although donations are welcome! Find your next favorite look at our expansive clothing exchange hosted by Queer Eugene.

  • Water Access: Water refill stations and water fountains are available throughout the event.

  • Directional Signage: Way-finding signage will be placed throughout the event, including in parking areas.

  • Expanded Footprint: The footprint of the festival will be expanded to allow more space for navigation with mobility devices.

Eugene Pride is organized and produced by a dedicated team of volunteers, including elders, people with disabilities and disabled people, queer, trans and nonbinary people and others with intersecting and overlapping identities.  Can we do better? There are always ways to improve. Please join us if you'd like to help!
